Madison, an 11 year-old girl whose father was incarcerated hopes that the father will enjoy the normal things of life -job, house, and being with her, when he gets out of prison. Madison wrote a letter to the President of the United States, Barack Obama, to share her story of having an incarcerated father. The little girl asked the President to make it easier for the father to get a job when he gets out. Her father is due for release in August 2016. According to the White House, out of 2.2 million people incarcerated in state and federal prisons, more than half are parents of children below the age of 18.
