Muhammad Ali, a legendary boxer and a highly respected civil rights activist has died in a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. According to a family spokesperson, Bob Gunnell, Ali was admitted a few days ago for respiratory issues.
“After a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer died this evening,” Gunnell said. “The Ali family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support and asks for privacy at this time.”
Ali who proclaimed himself “The Greatest” was indeed a greatly celebrated legend who was beloved by all.
