
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara said he has commenced an investigation into the alleged sex solicitation by three House members during their visit to the United States for the International Visitor Leadership Programme on good governance held in April.
The alleged sex scandal was exposed by the US ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. James Entwistle, in a letter dated, June 9, 2016, claiming that three House members, Mohammed Garba Gololo (APC, Bauchi), Samuel Ikon (PDP, Akwa Ibom), and Mark Gbillah (APC, Benue) solicited for sex during their visit to Cleveland, Ohio for the aforementioned conference.
