A bill introduced to protect women’s right has been rejected by the Senate. The bill was introduced by Senator Abiodun Olujimi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), representing Ekiti South, during the senate’s plenary session. During the lead debate, Senator Olujimi explained that the bill is intended for women to have equal rights with men in marriage, education, and employment.
